About This Role

As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding branch budget management and financial compliance.

  • Work collaboratively to ensure that future budget commitments can be met, and that potential risks and opportunities have been identified and mitigated.
  • Develop and provide timely budget coordination, financial reporting data and forecasting advice to support the delivery of road safety projects.

The purpose of this role is to enhance and promote effective budget planning, financial analysis, and reporting to drive business success.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Working proactively with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities related to budget forecasting.
  • Coordinating the financial reporting to forecast financial performance of contracts, projects, and financial phasings.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Deliver accurate and timely budget forecasts and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement effective budget management strategies.

What You Need To Succeed In This Role

  • Proven experience in complex budget forecasting roles within government environments, with expertise in providing expert forecasting reports and commercial governance advice.
  • Able to develop and maintain complex documentation and commercial reports, as well as analyse key budget data and finalise forecasted financial trends.
