As a strategic compliance leader, you will oversee the development and implementation of our end-to-end compliance strategy, ensuring seamless execution of KYC, AML/CTF, and regulatory programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the compliance team to achieve exceptional results through continuous improvement and high engagement.
  • Deliver comprehensive compliance reports to management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage and optimize end-to-end KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, AML, and CTF programs, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Conduct thorough compliance control testing, implementing robust and dynamic compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee incident response and ensure timely and effective resolutions, minimizing risk and maintaining business continuity.
  • Coordinate with external compliance resources as required, fostering collaborative relationships and leveraging expertise.
  • Review marketing materials and promotions to ensure regulatory compliance, guaranteeing alignment with industry standards.
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) obligations and serve as the Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Officer.
  • Liaise with regulators such as ASIC, AUSTRAC, and AFCA, managing investigations and regulatory communications, and addressing complaints and breaches.
  • Identify areas for control enhancement, driving process improvements and ensuring optimal compliance outcomes.
Compliance Program Management
  • Develop and maintain current AFSL licenses, serving as the primary contact for all regulatory bodies and authorities.
  • Continuously review and update compliance manuals, policies, procedures, and training programs to reflect the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the compliance training program, ensuring staff adherence to legislative requirements and promoting a culture of compliance excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
