About the Role

This is a permanent position on a 9-day fortnight based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery. As the Team Lead Technology Platforms, you will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining our technical core systems (Platforms) and ensuring a safe, consistent, and reliable product is provided to technology users within Commerce Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Technology Platform team, leveraging their knowledge and experience in enterprise technology principals to ensure systems are implemented and maintained to the highest standard.
  • Accountable for the provision of the Technology Platforms, including integration, maintenance, and improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Worsley Technology Roadmap.
  • Act as a role model safety leader in the Technology team.
About You

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Prior leadership experience gained in the Technology field, ideally within Mining or Heavy Industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Service, SQL Database Services and Time Series Historian would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic development of Technology roadmaps.
  • Act as a role model and drive a safety orientated culture in the team through effective mentoring and coaching.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or similar – Desirable.
  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor, or willing to obtain once in the role.
