Job Description

This role involves working with partners to enable them in using cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS), to build solutions and services for customers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing customer solutions using AWS services and a strong understanding of the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design customer solutions with partners using AWS services
  • Serve as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team in helping to enable partners and ensure partner success in building partner practice, capabilities, and solutions on the AWS platform
  • Scope each partner engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community
  • Evangelize AWS services to share best practices through forums such as blogs, white papers, and reference architectures, as well as public-speaking events
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • 3+ years of technology/software sales experience
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
About the Team

The team is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will own technical engagements with a select few strategic AWS partners and help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of the AWS platform across the partner community.
