Job Description

The Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner is the regulator of the legal profession in Victoria. We are responsible for licensing lawyers, overseeing service standards and conduct, handling complaints about lawyers, investigating poor conduct, and managing trust accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on litigation, administrative law, commercial law, and corporate governance as part of a commercial and assurance team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Admission to legal practice with a minimum of 5 years post-admission experience.
  • Bachelor of Laws degree and current practicing certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, and ability to simplify complex issues for understanding and insight.
  • Strong responsibility, alignment with policies and procedures, and self-motivation.
