Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior lawyer to join our team as a Principal Legal Adviser.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer to provide expert legal advice on constitutional, administrative and public law issues to government, ministers and departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as a key advisor on complex legal matters
  • Developing solutions-based legal and policy advice
  • Managing multiple sensitive matters independently
  • Undertaking in-depth legal research and analysis

Requirements

  • Admitted or eligible to be admitted as a legal practitioner in Victoria
  • Advanced technical legal skills with ability to interpret complex laws
  • Experience providing senior-level legal advice on administrative, public and human rights law matters
  • Familiarity with Victorian Government processes
