Role Overview

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in the Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide psychosocial supports to clients referred to our service, addressing their socio-economic and cultural needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping individuals and families access evidence-based Social Work methodologies, including screening and assessments, case management, advocacy, outreach, and supportive counselling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic services to clients, including individual and group work, to promote socio-economic and cultural functioning.
  • Assist clients in accessing community services, such as employment and social opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the SEWB team to embed three streams of care: medical, therapeutic, and cultural and social support.
  • Develop and implement case management plans to address clients' complex needs.
