About the RoleWe are seeking skilled professionals for seasonal employment opportunities as Laboratory Technicians at our factory in tropical North Queensland. The role involves operating laboratory equipment and machinery to provide high-quality services to the production team.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure safe and efficient operation of laboratory equipment and machinery.
- Provide laboratory services to support the production team's quality targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (preferred but not essential).
- Previous laboratory experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work shift schedules and availability for the duration of the crushing season.
Mackay Sugar offers a dynamic work environment and a competitive salary package. As a minimum, you can expect to earn $55,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
