Our team is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated lighting control technician to join our dynamic team within our Queensland client services branch. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading electrical contractor known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and service.

**Job Description:**

As a lighting control technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and programming lighting control systems, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational reliability. Your role will include commissioning, servicing, and fault diagnosis of solutions in accordance with our service contracts.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, commission, and maintain lighting control systems and associated equipment.
  • Carry out fault finding and repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and staff.
  • Prepare and submit service reports and documentation.
  • Participate in an on-call roster for emergency services and after-hours support.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • A current QLD electrical licence with minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems including KNX, Dynalite, Cbus, and DMX.
  • A current QLD manual open driver's licence.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to handle on-call duties and after-hours work as required.
