Master Plumber Position Overview

As a seasoned Master Plumber, you will have the opportunity to lead large plumbing projects and design complex systems that meet or exceed safety and quality standards.

With extensive experience in designing, installing, and maintaining intricate plumbing systems, you will be able to leverage your deep understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices to drive project success.

In this role, you will oversee project management, lead cross-functional teams, and mentor junior plumbers to ensure seamless execution and operational readiness.

This is an onsite position located at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. You will be responsible for implementing quality control measures, facilitating team communication, and resolving complex issues under pressure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing large plumbing projects
  • Designing plumbing systems and selecting appropriate materials
  • Inspecting and testing installed systems and pipelines, and resolving any issues found
  • Training and mentoring junior plumbing staff
  • Maintaining Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure all installations and repairs meet or exceed set standards
  • Facilitating Team Communication: Ensuring clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates

Requirements include:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen
  • Must have a US TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance
  • Must have a minimum of five years of plumbing experience
  • Must have a Master Plumbing license or AUS equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements
  • Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure

Desired Qualifications include Backflow Prevention Inspector Certification.
