Job Summary

As a seasoned finance professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional services and expertise to clients. You will work full-time to provide specialized financial analysis, management, and procurement advice that drives the development of key capabilities within high-security environments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert financial advice and guidance to support the development of key capabilities within high-security environments.
  • Managing time and resources to ensure efficient completion of tasks and projects.
  • Maintaining and enhancing positive client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Australian citizenship.
  • Australian government security clearance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • TSPV Australian government security clearance (essential).
  • Strong understanding of business finances, including Federal Government and/or Defence financial policies, company financial structures, commercial financial management and small business accountancy, company/commercial entity legislation and compliance matters, taxation, financial risk, fraud, and forensic accountancy.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, consider risks, and formulate creative solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent literacy, verbal, and written communication skills, with a very high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and constructively engage with stakeholders.
