Emergency Nursing Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to work in our Urgent Care Service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Triage patients promptly and provide front-line care in collaboration with medical practitioners, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
- Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering, demonstrating expertise in emergency nursing procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure efficient and effective patient care, adapting quickly to changing priorities and situations.
- Deliver person-centered care, working closely with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control practices and reporting any incidents or near misses.
- Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Have availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
- Prior experience in triage within an emergency department or ICU would be highly regarded.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds and healthcare professionals.
