Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art printing presses to produce newspapers and other printed materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and run modern web offset presses for newspaper printing
  • Monitor press performance and quality throughout each run
  • Make real-time adjustments to ink flow, tension, registration, and alignment
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to avoid downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance and assist with mechanical repairs when needed
  • Work closely with production teams to meet daily deadlines
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of equipment and materials
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in print production or operating commercial printing equipment (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and a good eye for print quality
  • Ability to work on your feet and lift heavy objects
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, or holiday schedules
  • Reliability and a strong sense of ownership over your work
