We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collision Repair Team Lead to join our team at AMA GROUP AUSTRALIA. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, management, and technical skills in collision repair and workshop management.

The Opportunity:

As a seasoned professional in the Collision repair industry, you will be responsible for prioritizing, managing, and motivating the production team while ensuring quality repairs, safety, and customer satisfaction.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a professional collision repair team and contribute to the development of the next generation through our Apprenticeship program.

Reporting to the Area Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing team workflow and production.
  • Ensuring quality repairs are completed to scope and within timeframes.
  • Providing exceptional customer service standards.
  • Overseeing and scrutinizing repair costs and timeframes.
  • Managing workshop costs to ensure profitability.
  • Coaching and developing staff through our succession planning program.
  • Ensuring repairs are completed correctly at each stage and completing final QA sign-off.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Accurate daily and monthly reporting.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous Collision Repair experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Qualification in Panel Beating or Spray Painting (desirable).
  • Experience with Estimating and ability to check and correct quotes.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • A focus on site safety, workflow, and productivity.
  • A commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • The ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Experience with platforms such as iBody Shop, Parts Check, and Audanet (preferred).
