About Us:
We hold a vast collection of records, dating back to the 1830s.
The collection includes immigration and shipping records, criminal trials and prisons, premiers and governors, royal commissions, boards of inquiry, wills and probates, and more.
These records share stories of key events that shaped Victoria's history.
- To ensure long-term preservation and accessibility, we need someone to develop digital records standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance the use of digital technologies in archives.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and address technical issues related to digital records management.
This is an opportunity for you to make a meaningful contribution to the preservation of our heritage.
You will be working with a team dedicated to delivering high-quality services.
We are looking for someone who can bring their expertise in digital records management to our team.
We require someone with experience in developing and implementing digital records standards and best practices.
A strong understanding of metadata standards, data modeling, and workflow automation is essential.
