We are seeking a highly skilled Property Risk Analyst to join our team at Alt X Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our property research and loan writing capability.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research on property values using industry-leading tools such as RP Data, Cordells, Google Earth, and Near Map.
- Review and critically analyze external valuation reports to provide insightful information to our Credit Committee.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the Real Estate industry to ensure seamless communication and information exchange.
- Collaborate with Real Estate agents to gather knowledge on recent sales, property values, and neighboring sales to gain a comprehensive understanding of current valuations and trends.
- Present findings to our Directors and substantiate your views through well-researched reports.
- Write Loan Submissions to present to our Credit Committee and Investor Submissions for Investors.
- Perform additional duties, including general administration tasks.
- A valuer qualification is required, as is a background in the Property or Finance sectors.
- A passion or interest in the property sector is essential.
- You must be a self-starter with a high degree of curiosity and confidence to pick up the phone and reach out to the market to gather information every day.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to build positive relationships with a wide range of Real Estate agents and other external stakeholders.
- Strong report-writing skills, with the ability to form conclusions based on imperfect information, are required.
- The ability to adopt a measured approach to property assessment is crucial.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and the Microsoft suite of products is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are essential.
