Service Advisor Job Description

The role of a Service Advisor is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing expert advice and support for agricultural machinery customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and via other communication channels.
  • Monitor and manage daily workflow, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Assign tasks to technicians, address employee concerns, schedule training sessions, and maintain product knowledge.
  • Maintain liaison with the parts department as necessary, and resolve customer disputes in collaboration with the service manager.
  • E nsure timely completion of warranty and work-in-progress requirements in conjunction with the service manager.

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a mechanical trade certificate.
  • Previous experience with engine overhauls and major repairs, including electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong supervisory/management experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A mature attitude and logical methodical approach to work.
