Job Title: Airline Baggage Handler

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work at Perth International Airport as a part-time Customer Service Agent, handling baggage for international carrier clients.

We are seeking motivated and team-focused individuals with excellent customer service skills to join our Mishandled Baggage team. As a key point of contact, you will be responsible for tracing and locating mishandled bags, reporting on damaged bags directly to the airline, and adhering to safety and security processes applicable to the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring carousels for issues such as belt stoppages and passenger concerns
  • Liaising with the below wing team for missing baggage
  • Recording rush bags received and reporting issues to the Baggage Services Supervisors
  • Creating and tracing files for missed or damaged bags
  • Forwarding/delivering of baggage to passengers
Essential Criteria:
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance at work
