
Child Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Navigator to provide comprehensive care for children under 12 who require secondary mental health and wellbeing support.
The role is a critical part of the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub team, working collaboratively to deliver bio-psycho-socio-cultural assessments and interventions that complement and enhance existing services for children and their families.
Key aspects of this position include leading inter and multidisciplinary care planning, systems improvement, key contact for CAMHS, development of systems and tools, MDT facilitation, project work, and consultation-liaison role.
Requirements- Comprehensive understanding of child mental health and wellbeing principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Capacity to develop and implement effective care plans
- Experience in similar roles or fields
