About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Sourcing Specialist to join our Energy and Sustainability Services division in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our Energy & Cleantech Sourcing team, you will play a crucial role in sourcing energy in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan, managing the procurement process to meet client goals and contribute to the transition into the digital and decarbonised economy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Client Managers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Procure renewable electricity and environmental certificates.
  • Manage pre-tender activities, including collecting interval data, invoices, and contracts.
  • Negotiate and utilise quantitative and qualitative techniques to deliver suitable contract terms and lowest renewable energy prices for clients.
  • Develop and deliver renewable energy strategies to clients seeking guidance on reducing Scope 2 emissions and achieving RE100 goals.
  • Own and develop/enhance business processes to the highest standards of efficiency, control, and accuracy.
  • Develop and deliver accurate and timely reports, responding to client queries as required.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Environmental Studies.
  • Advanced MS-Excel skills, with the ability to identify, analyse, and comprehend information from numerous sources.
  • Demonstrable analytical ability with a sharp eye for numerical detail.
  • Proven ability to remain focused in a complex and fluid environment, delivering tasks accurately and on time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer-focused, and good stakeholder management skills.
