Job Summary

Bridgestone Earthmover Tyres Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team in Port Hedland. As a Trades Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the repair and maintenance of wheels for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of wheel damage
  • Ensure all equipment used on site meets operational requirements
  • Inspect and repair wheels to meet quality standards
  • Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet customer needs

Requirements

  • Aptitude and/or experience in metal fabrication or in a mechanical workshop workplace
  • Forklift licence (LF) or ability to obtain
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Fit and able to carry out manual labour requirements
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player with a can-do attitude
  • Current work rights in Australia

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional qualifications or certificates such as handling hazardous materials, painting, borer operation, drill operation, grit blasting, etc.
  • Valid drivers licence (HR preferred)
  • Experience in the mining or related industries
