Discovery Ranger

Our team is seeking a skilled Discovery Ranger to join our conservation efforts in the National Parks and Wildlife Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for visitors and students.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and curriculum-based delivery, as well as experience in guiding and interpretive work. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs for visitors and students
  • Conduct guided tours and workshops
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver learning experiences
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Strong educational background and experience in curriculum-based delivery
  • Experience in guiding and interpretive work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Current Working with Children check
  • First Aid Certificate and Current Australian Drivers Licence
