Machine Learning Research Fellow

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Machine Learning Research Fellows to undertake fundamental machine learning research for projects aligned to one of more of the following themes:

  • Theme 1: Misinformation Mitigation
  • Theme 2: Safe AI in the Real World
  • Theme 3: Diverse AI
  • Theme 4: Explainable AI

The successful candidates will join a large computer vision and machine learning research group with over 180 members, working on a mixture of fundamental and commercially orientated research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting original research in machine learning and related areas;
  2. Developing and implementing new machine learning algorithms and techniques;
  3. Collaborating with other researchers and students on research projects;
  4. Publishing research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.

Requirements:

  1. PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or other Machine Learning-related field;
  2. Strong programming skills in Python, C++ or other relevant language;
  3. Experience in deep neural networks and causal inference;
  4. Excellent publication record in top-tier machine learning and/or computer vision conferences or journals.
