As a key member of the Technical Services team at Yancoal, you will provide technical expertise in short and medium term mine planning services and support to front line supervisors.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure implementation and compliance of the Weekly Plan and site Safety Health and Environmental standards to ensure safe and sustainable mine standards.
- Design and develop rolling weekly excavator plans and schedules for the mining operation.
- Coordinate plans and schedules and monitoring of actual progress with benchmarks.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly production reports and summaries.
- Ensure all production schedules are adhered to in order to meet production requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in Mining Engineering or a comparable degree, and have experience in open cut mining operations within the coal industry.
You will also possess high standard of written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a drive for continuous improvement initiatives.
