Financial Systems Transformation Expert

Job Description

Are you seeking a role that will empower you to make a lasting impact on finance systems across an entire organization?

This dynamic position offers the opportunity to step away from routine accounting tasks and drive innovation in finance system design, operation, and adoption.

You will be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge ERP and FP&A systems, collaborating closely with senior finance and IT leaders to ensure seamless integration, efficient processes, and robust reporting.

This is your chance to join a national business undergoing a major transformation project.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting foundation, preferably with CA/CPA certification or equivalent experience. Prior Odoo ERP experience is highly desirable, as well as expertise in change management, process improvement, and systems adoption.

Hands-on system configuration and testing skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities and a proactive, extroverted approach to working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive ERP and reporting system projects, focusing on Odoo ERP and Jedox FP&A.
  • Translate accounting needs into system functionality.
  • Configure and test workflows, user roles, permissions, and reporting structures.
  • Lead workshops, training sessions, and end-user adoption.
  • Validate complex revenue cycles.
  • Champion continuous improvement across finance processes and controls.
Requirements
  • A strong accounting foundation – CA/CPA preferred or equivalent experience.
  • ERP knowledge, with prior Odoo experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in change management, process improvement, and systems adoption.
  • Hands-on system configuration and testing experience.
  • Strong grasp of debits, credits, and accounting flows.
  • Excellent communicator – confident leading training and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
