Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist to provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for patients with complex medical, functional, and psychosocial needs in an inpatient hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist Clinical/Health Psychology service including assessment, treatment planning, intervention, positive behaviour support planning, evaluation, and consultation to patients and their carers individually and in group settings.
- Participate in interdisciplinary clinical and planning activities to enhance the overall service provided to clients.
- Develop systems for monitoring, reviewing, and improving the standards of services to clients.
About You:
- Full registration with the relevant professional body, with an area of endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology.
- Hold approved supervisor status at all levels of supervision.
- Experience providing psychological treatments.
- A high level of ability to design, implement, and evaluate psychological procedures and interventions, including psychological assessments, and consultancy services, in relation to complex clients.
- Ability to apply specialist skills in resolving clinical problems.
- Demonstrated abilities in communication, liaison, and teamwork.
