Commercial Litigation Senior Associate

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Senior Associate to join their team in Brisbane. As a key member of the dispute resolution team, you will work closely with partners and colleagues to advise clients on complex commercial litigation matters.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of high-profile cases, including commercial disputes, contract claims, and shareholder disputes. Your expertise will be valued in helping clients navigate these challenging situations and achieve successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to articulate and negotiate effectively. You will also possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years' experience in commercial litigation gained within a top-tier or mid-tier firm, or in-house.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commercial approach and the ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
  • The ability to be team-focused, provide leadership and mentoring to juniors, and work independently.
