We are seeking an experienced and extremely organized individual to join our team in a key leadership role at the Dandenong South warehouse.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and responsible for ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently, effectively and safely.
The following responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Organisation of work activities in the warehouse
  2. Inbound and outbound inventory movements
  3. Secure storage of inventory in the warehouse
  4. Efficient utilization of warehouse space and equipment
  5. Loading and unloading of containers and delivery vehicles
  6. Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe and presentable at all times
  7. Compliance with, and implementation of WHS policies and procedures, ensuring all staff comply
  8. Participation in identifying improvements to Work, Health and Safety
About YouTo be considered for this position you will have:A minimum 3 years of experience in a similar roleA Certificate in Warehouse Management will be highly regardedCurrent driver's licence is a mustForklift and order picker licences will be highly regardedHands on experience with warehouse management software (SAP will be highly regarded)You will exhibit the following attributes:Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practicesAbility to implement process improvement initiativesStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Organised and able to meet deadlinesClear knowledge of government legislation, transport and warehousingPrevious experience from within the tyre and wheel industry would be a distinct advantage.YHI supports career progression for all employees willing and able to gain the necessary experience and qualifications.The successful applicant will be entitled to purchase product at discount rates and will be provided with on-the-job training.Forklift and order picker licencing training is included (if required) for the right person.
