Senior Estimator

A reputable construction company is seeking a seasoned estimator to lead their tender process for commercial and residential projects. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team offering a stable pipeline of work and strong long-term growth prospects.
The RoleThis position involves managing tenders from initial review through submission, collaborating closely with directors and project managers, and taking ownership of detailed take-offs and build cost plans.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the tender process from initial review to submission
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Conduct thorough take-offs and build cost planning for commercial and residential projects valued up to $40 million
- Prepare and review tender packages, as well as project documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues on design and construct methodology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating for head contractors in building construction
- Detailed knowledge of the Sydney subcontractor market
- Solid understanding of design and construct contracts and tender processes
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
