Electrical Project Leaders Job Opportunity

This role presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity for experienced professionals to lead and manage electrical projects from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in design, procurement, and delivery of electrical works to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee engineering deliverables to guarantee compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support project scoping, planning, and bid preparation activities to drive successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate project delivery risks.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes, including inspection, testing, and validation of electrical systems.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and project delivery teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification.
  • NER and Victorian Engineering Registration (minimum), Chartered Engineer desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering transmission-level voltage projects within utilities, EPC, or renewables sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of design development processes and project engineering methodologies.
  • Proven leadership skills, including experience leading engineering teams and providing mentoring across levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Extensive industry knowledge of electricity distribution, sub-transmission, and infrastructure, including relevant construction practices and standards.
  • Able to apply construction methodology during the planning phase to ensure effective execution and integration.
