About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at SACARE. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in our Supported Accommodation Facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and support to clients with complex needs
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the highest level of care and support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
- Current unencumbered AHPRA registration
- Advanced Life Support certification (highly desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Current unrestricted Driver's License
- NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Emergency Department and intensive care experience (highly desirable)
