We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in the Liver Transplant State Wide Service. As a Grade 2 Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to referred liver transplant and surgical patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling to patients and families
- Supervise grade 1 social workers
- Supervise social work students
- Undertake psychosocial transplant workup assessment
- Participate in quality improvement, service improvement and/or research
Requirements:
- A degree in Social Work
- Ideal experience working in a health-related setting
- Ability to work and contribute to team culture and work within a multidisciplinary environment
