- Hourly rate range (SC21 $44 p/h - $50.50 p/h) + super + salary packaging

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the clinical areas of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Liver Transplant Unit (LTU), within a supportive team environment.

As the Grade 2 Social Worker you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to areas including ICU and LTU / Surgery. You will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to referred patients and families. A regular day will see you undertake psychosocial assessments, LTU psychosocial workup assessments, and provide social work intervention (including counselling) to support recovery and assist patients to discharge from hospital. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team planning care and attend case conferences. You will also undertake other non-clinical activities such as quality improvement work, training, supervision, student supervision, journal club, and research. The Social Work department will provide you with supervision from a qualified and experienced social worker and you will have access to professional development. You will work within a supportive social work team and multi-disciplinary team structure.

**You must have**:

- a degree in Social Work
- ideally have worked in a hospital or health-related setting
- ability to work and contribute to team culture and work within a multidisciplinary environment
