Job Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of a Cloud & Integration Solution Architect. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic and technical guidance, as well as leading the development of solution architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of architectures for complex solutions, ensuring alignment with agreed requirements and objectives.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and governance on solution development and integration, ensuring seamless collaboration across IT, business areas, and Agile Delivery Teams.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative architectures, analyzing trade-offs in cost, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Develop detailed specifications for cloud-based and on-premises components, tiers, and interfaces, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and standards.
  • Manage and coordinate target architecture across projects, workstreams, and initiatives, driving consistency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of policies, principles, and practices for architecture component selection, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate requests for changes and deviations, making recommendations to governance bodies, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, specifically in complex, multi-system environments.
  • Strong track record of providing governance and technical direction for solution development and integration.
  • Expertise in designing cloud-native and on-prem architectures, including detailed component and interface specifications.
  • Solid knowledge of architecture frameworks, standards, and security policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Experience contributing to the selection and governance of architectural components, driving informed decision-making.
  • Background working within Agile project/program delivery environments, with a focus on collaborative and iterative approaches.
