Business Development Manager

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to drive growth from a portfolio of existing and new brokers. This will be achieved through proactive promotion of products, regular training and product updates, and providing partners with ongoing support and assistance in the application to settlement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales volume and deliver revenue targets
  • Highlight new business opportunities to increase market share
  • Provide ongoing product training and updates to accredited brokers
  • Represent at industry events
  • Implement processes to ensure smooth broker and client experience
  • Liaise with credit and client services to ensure opportunities progress through the platform within service level agreements
  • Management of existing relationships and onboarding of new brokers
  • Supporting the broader team and broker accounts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years Sales/Sales Support Experience in Asset or Equipment Finance
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant technology and systems used in Finance Industry
  • Proactive, self-motivated and a team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
