Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist

This role is critical in maintaining high-quality production standards while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating and monitoring plastic recycling and extrusion machinery.
  • Loading raw plastic materials and managing material feed systems.
  • Adjusting machine settings for temperature, speed, and pressure.
  • Inspecting final products for quality assurance.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving minor issues.
  • Maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in plastic recycling or extrusion (preferred).
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg and work in a hot/noisy environment.
  • Basic understanding of machinery operations and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
  • Forklift certification (a plus).

Working Conditions:

• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to commute or relocate to Wacol QLD 4076.

• Must have a valid Australian work authorization.

• In-person work only.
