Senior Health Safety Environmental Compliance Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage our health, safety, and environment initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a team committed to zero harm and industry best practice, working on diverse and challenging projects that make a difference in the community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WHS, Quality, Environment, and internal/external auditing, with demonstrated experience managing ISO 9001, ISO 4801, and ISO 14001 standards within the construction industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining an integrated management system (IMS) to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Overseeing site investigations and reporting hazards, near misses, and incidents
  • Championing a safety culture across the organization
  • Providing proactive advice on legislation and industry changes

A qualification in WHS, Quality, Environment, and internal/external auditing is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence at all levels.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a genuine commitment to health, safety, and environment.

Requirements:
  • A qualification in WHS, Quality, Environment, and internal/external auditing
  • Demonstrated experience managing ISO 9001, ISO 4801, and ISO 14001 standards within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, standards, and best practice
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
  • Australian residency or valid work rights
