Job Summary

The GeologistEnvironmental Compliance Specialist will provide technical assistance and guidance for the collection, identification, and compilation of geological data. This includes advising companies on compliance with state, local, and federal environmental regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement professional geologic and environmental science work to assist with investigations, inspections, and surveys.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment and tools.
  • Assist in analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting environmental data.
  • Generate accurate and concise documentation using electronic systems and software.
  • Prepare written technical reports summarizing research findings and conclusions.
  • Provide environmental compliance program support for industrial clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Environmental Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in environmental sciences.
  • Ability to work in locations with rough terrain and enter facilities with limited accessibility.
  • Experience with evaluating/maintaining environmental regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental laws, regulations, and record-keeping requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Geology or Environmental Science.
  • Certified ISO 14001 and 45001.
  • 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) preferred.
