Key Industry Policy Advisor

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the Department of Defence's key industry policy by performing complex industry policy and program activities.

We are seeking a skilled professional who can coordinate and manage the development and implementation of policies and associated programs to promote Defence industry participation in domestic and international programs consistent with Defence objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to interpret and analyse policies and programs to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and procedures.

The successful applicant will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to build and sustain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.

About Our Team:

The Industry Engagement Division (IE Div) supports Defence delivery on the Government's policy direction, namely the National Defence Strategy and the Defence Industry Development Strategy.

We develop and deliver initiatives that are designed to develop a stronger sovereign industrial base while making Defence a stronger client.
