At Calvary Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Safety Quality Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Risk, Safety and Quality department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver education and training programs to staff on patient safety and quality improvement best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to support the organization's ongoing preparedness for accreditation.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in patient safety and quality improvement. You will have a thorough understanding of the National Safety and Quality in Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.

Key Requirements:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse and/or Midwife.
  • Strong understanding of quality improvement and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
