About this Opportunity

The Marketing Communications Manager at Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives engagement and conversion. As a key member of the marketing team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop innovative marketing campaigns that promote the hotel's services and products.

This position requires a creative problem-solver with exceptional project management skills, who can prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge of the hospitality industry to develop effective marketing solutions that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance the Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields brand presence.
  2. Collaborating with the Director of Sales & Marketing to plan and execute large-scale marketing events.
  3. Becoming a subject matter expert on the hospitality industry, including market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
  4. Creating and distributing engaging content across various channels, including email, social media, and print materials.
  5. Managing direct marketing activities and e-marketing initiatives to drive business development and lead generation.

Requirements

  1. Possessing tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  2. Having 2+ years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles, with a proven track record of implementing external marketing and communications strategies within a hospitality environment.
  3. Understanding the hospitality industry, including market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
  5. Familiarity with technology, including CRM systems and social media platforms.
  6. Excellent written and verbal skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  7. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to foster and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally to the hotel.
