Job Title: Dam Construction Specialist

About the Role

Civil engineers play a vital role in designing and building dams that provide clean water and energy for communities. They work on various projects, including municipal, mining, agriculture, and hydropower purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects with expertise in geotechnical, structural, and/or design management skills.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop business opportunities, proposals, reports, and technical analysis.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team success.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years' experience in dam engineering.
  • Chartered RPEQ engineer status or working towards it.
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) or higher qualifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of dam design, including embankment and concrete dams.
  • Familiarity with Queensland dam safety legislation is an advantage.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
