Dam Specialist

**Job Title:** Civil Engineer - Dams

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dams engineering and be able to apply their expertise to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.

The role involves working on a broad range of dams projects, including water dams and tailings dams for various uses. You will be responsible for providing technical delivery, with a focus on geotechnical, structural and/or design management skills.

• A variety of dams projects, including both water dams and tailings dams.
• Technical delivery, with a focus on geotechnical, structural and/or design management skills.
• Actively participating in client relationship management, business development, development of proposals, reports and technical analysis.

• More than 3 years' post-graduation experience in dams engineering, preferably with chartered RPEQ engineer status or working towards this status.
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) or higher qualifications.
• Ideal candidate has knowledge of design of a broad range of dam types, including embankment and concrete dams.
• Knowledge of Queensland dam safety legislation an advantage.
• Experience working in multi-disciplined teams, including geologists, structural engineers, hydraulic engineers, hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical engineers.
