Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on financial management for two business units within our Lands division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with business unit managers to discuss budget priorities and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Provide expert advice on expenditure queries and ensure that financial processes align with organisational policies.
  • Review financial reports and reconciliations, prepare variance analyses and maintain accurate forecast data to support informed decision-making.
  • Prepare briefing notes for senior leaders, develop detailed budget submissions and coordinate the divisional financial statement package.
  • Oversee the budget build process for operating, capital and limited life funding and ensure allocations accurately reflect strategic priorities.
  • Utilise SAP S4/HANA and Excel to prepare routine and ad hoc reports, responding to complex queries from stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Develop strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analyse financial data, solve problems and deliver practical solutions.
  • Apply relevant experience, qualifications or training to support financial management outcomes.
