About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential house in Warnbro region.

Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Residential Support Workers in providing purposeful support to young people in residential care with high and complex needs.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring children and young people through positive relationships and active engagement.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that fosters growth and resilience.
  • Developing and implementing case plans and service delivery strategies.
  • Spearheading a team of residential workers, including reflective supervision and team meetings.
  • Coordinating intake and transition of new children and young people into the home.

Key Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and disadvantage.
  • Experience in managing 24-hour residential services for vulnerable people.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.

This Full Time position requires regular on-site work in the home and occasional time at our state office in Leederville. Successful applicants will be required to undertake some early starts or later shifts to work afternoons when the young people are home.
