About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Cleaner to provide high-quality support to our participants in North Brisbane, Brisbane City, and South Brisbane.

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in achieving our participants' goals by ensuring that all cleaning activities focus on their needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out thorough vacuuming of carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture
  • Sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing tiled, vinyl, timber, and concrete floors
  • Ensuring rooms are tidy, emptying wastepaper bins, and removing rubbish
  • Cleaning and disinfecting kitchens, bathrooms, and toilets
  • Dusting, cleaning, and polishing furniture and other homewares
  • Cleaning windows and other glass surfaces

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping
  • Basic English and Numeracy skills for effective communication
  • Good health and fitness to perform household cleaning tasks with minimal supervision
  • A people-focused approach to working with adults, children, and families in a community-based setting
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • A current Working with Disability Check (Yellow Card/NDIS Screening Card)
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations
  • The Right to Work in Australia
  • A proactive approach to safety and well-being
  • Good computer and mobile device skills for record-keeping and communication
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team
