The Opportunity

In this role, you will assist our team with everyday activities within our Manufacturing portfolio, including powder coating and surface preparation. You will also have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the success of our MailSafe, BinSafe & GarageSafe product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good communication with the supervisor of the powder coat area
  • Meet production quantities and quality through effective use of equipment and labor
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and uncluttered workspace, and maintain plant and equipment
  • Abrasive blasting, stripping, and solvent cleaning to prepare surfaces for powder coating
  • Pre-treatment of products using chemicals to enhance surface protection and quality
  • Visual inspection to ensure product quality meets standards
  • Complete tasks on time and to the required standard, as directed by the supervisor
  • Follow correct powder coating procedures and industry safety norms
  • Participate actively in the worksite to meet production and productivity outcomes
  • Comply with HELP's Code of Conduct and all policies, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow instructions, work orders, and production schedules
  • Capacity to concentrate, multi-task, and produce high-quality work with minimal errors
  • Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's license
