Pool Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:

The Pool Maintenance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, and operational aquatic environments. As part of this team, you will conduct routine testing, cleaning, and maintenance duties to maintain pool water quality.

This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals aged 18 and above, with full training provided. Our pool maintenance specialists work closely with other facilities team members to ensure that our pools are always ready for our guests.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing hourly water testing and chemical balancing as per set procedures
  • Recording all water chemistry results accurately in logbooks or digital systems
  • Maintaining pool water levels
  • Cleaning and maintaining filters, chlorinators, skimmers, and pool vacuum systems
  • Inspecting and maintaining dosing and metering equipment (training provided)
  • Assisting with scooping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning of pools
  • Conducting plant room checks and ensuring spaces are clean and hazard-free
  • Supporting minor repairs and reporting any faults or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Participating in scheduled maintenance procedures for pool equipment
  • Following instructions and completing daily task checklists
  • Attending team meetings and safety briefings

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Education: Water Quality Essentials Training (provided) Essential
  • Languages: Fluent English
  • Skills: Basic communication and teamwork skills, Ability to follow instructions and procedures, Physically fit and capable of climbing towers and working outdoors, Attention to detail and commitment to safety
