We are seeking passionate water enthusiasts with expertise in hydrogeology to join our WA Water business group. Our team excels in water infrastructure and resources engineering consulting, working with industry leaders like Water Authorities and major mining firms. We look for individuals who will uphold and enhance our reputation for effective collaboration and quality delivery.

This position offers diverse work opportunities and sees you involved in:

  • Supporting project planning and execution for hydrogeological investigations and assessments
  • Working on various small to medium-sized water projects
  • Collaborating within a globally connected multidisciplinary team on major projects
  • Delivering high-quality field investigations, data management, and technical reporting
  • Investigation and report writing, proposal preparation, and bid submission
  • Demonstrating industry knowledge and experience to develop client relationships
  • Collaborating with experienced professionals on multiple projects
  • Continuously developing skills and contributing to the team
  • Mentoring junior members and supporting senior colleagues in delivering services to internal and external clients

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Technical expertise in groundwater investigations, conceptualisation, impact assessments, and resource evaluation
  • Experience with GIS software and spatial data analysis
  • Ability to work independently using geological models (Leapfrog), coding (python), and water assessment software (Aqtesolv)
  • Report writing proficiency in various formats for diverse clients and sectors
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for technical excellence, diligence, and client service
  • Numerical model development understanding, including data collation, processing, and interpretation
  • Project management and administration experience, as well as subcontractor and HSE management
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in hydrogeology or related subjects
  • Minimum 2 years' hydrogeological experience, with 8 years required for the senior role
