Job Title: Senior Hydrogeologist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to lead our hydrogeological projects. This role involves planning, implementing, and supervising drilling programs to ensure accurate data collection and robust analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of field Hydrogeologists to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Plan and implement hydrogeological drilling projects ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
  • Oversight of data collection, QA/QC processes, and database management.
  • Provide technical input into scheduling, budgeting, and contractor management.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology, or Geosciences (MSc in Hydrogeology preferred).
  • Proven applied experience in hydrogeology, ideally in mine water management and water bore drilling within open-pit mining.
  • Strong knowledge of conceptual hydrogeological modelling, monitoring, and data interpretation.
  • Practical experience with internal and external approvals processes.
  • Proficiency in hydrogeological software and data management.
